Lite stykke Vesterålen

A bridge here in Vesterålen. It is probably one of the most popular motives in the area.

A row of lamp post. The effect used here is called "Holga", after the Holga camera.

This rose was left on top of a stone which has an inscription of every visit by the Norwegian king. The rose is layed there as a part of the 22/7-memorial.

This bridge connects Hadseløya with Børøya, but the hillside is on Langøya, which is further away.

Now, the terminology regarding boats and the sea is not my strongest side. This is a "thingy", in a lack of better words, where the hawser is put in order to keep a ship still.

No place special, just a random place in the woods. Looks a bit like a place of fiction, a place where the plot of a story takes place.

A new hospital is being built here and I tried to make a photo of some equipment, a crane more precisely.

Not far from the house there is a small lake called Lillevannet. I was quite surprised when i got home and saw the reflection in the water. It was not visible on the display on the camera.

My apologies

Eventhough I loath to see people do this, I have to apologize for not posting in over a month. This is due to the fact that my camera is fubar and that makes it hard to post something. This page evolved into a picture blog more than anything else and therefore I have been a bit apprehensive when it came to post anything else.

Where's Santa?

Well, at least I tried.

I tried to be a bit artistic here, leaving the colors of the background and keeping the rest in grey. Boathouses like this one are all over Vesterålen.
